The 300 Movie

I don't know about the rest of you, but I was really looking forward to watching and enjoying 300. I, obviously set my expectations too high. It was too mystic and Lord of the Ringish. I would have appreciated a more historically accurate version of the Last Stand of the Spartans at Thermoploye. The best scene for me was the very small segment of the phalanx functioning a machine against the Persian front.

I thought it was a great film but I do know a number of my friends thought the same as you, as I wasnt totally familliar with the acurate story of Thermoploye I had nothing to put the film against.
I liked it alot.
