One of the easiest tools to use to download YouTube videos is YouRipper which can be found at www.remlapsoftware.com. The software has its own video player. The YouTube video downloads into the Flash *.flv format. Apparently, the YouRipper Freeware Edition has been closed down. Service terminated on 9 Nov 07

Here is another option. Use the Moyea FLV Downloader at: www.flvsoft.comIt's free, easy to use, and comes with an FLV player. Converting the video to MPG or AVI format can be done by using Pazera: tinyurl.com/5r2u33This application is also free and allows you to upload your videos to your favorite media player.
