I dont know if this is going to be of any use, but i've had a go at a webpage for SWF. I used a template and edited some things on it. prob not much good, but only my second attempt. I've uploaded it to my FTP server, which i use for testing webpages, so I can remove it whenever Take a look. lofty.explosivedj.co.uk

Looks very cool Though the forum is (I think) set in stone, this one's up for grabs. I've been working on a design as well From what Scriv's told me he's interested in features more than design, but he's still interested in ideas/templates. I guess in plebeian he means "Keep it up, we'll get to it eventually, but I'm too busy right now to implement a new format." I think the main thing is that he's interested in whatever help he can get for improvements. Good thinking publishing it though, I'm running mine on a private web server but I'll be sure to drop the link here some time.

I put the button to the new forum as i thought it'd look better with the design of the website layout. I've put all the files in zip file, so if anybody wants it to have a play with it, you can get it from www.lofty.explosivedj.co.uk/SWFtest.zip

please feel free to download the zip file in my above post to make any changes. If anybody does this, please put all the edited files into a zip or rar file and email them to me so i can take a look at them and put them on my ftp server for testing.

I have updated the page by putting some little pictures on (the ones we use as our avatars) if you move the cursor over to the an image, it will now tell you the member name and when they joined. take a look the zip file has also been updated

Its seems to me that we have a number of talanted members working on very similar projects independant of each other. Can we not put all our heads together and get some members working on deadaims forum and other members working on the website, but all working together? If everyone put their heads together couldn't we have the best admn site and forum out there??!
We would need a co-ordinator but thats easy to find, scriv, milk, lofty, trigger, deadaim, all seem to have masses of skill in these areas. It just seems that alot of time and effort is being wasted because everyone is doing the same things on there own! How many more websites and forums are we going to have??!! LOL!

thats a good idea, but because I'm from the UK, it'd be pretty awkward for me, scriv, milk, trigger and deadaim to find a suitable time to put ideas together. If we can arrange something, then I'm up for it.

I think it's doable. Probably some ad-hoc source control is in order, but beyond that I think we can manage. I finally managed to find a way to publish the design I'd been working on. You'll notice it's about the same--I've been working on features. milkrunning.50gigs.net/main/The Join/Fight buttons are "broken" for IE, simply because IE is broken. The fixes are easier to do once the whole format is done, so I'll probably put them in later.
