=SWF= BF2 Map Rotation

OK guys, after spending almost a week as admin on the server I have decided it is WAY to annoying to keep up with this map rotation. I even had to ask my brother in law for help in running it more effectiantly as he has extensive experiance in BF2CC and he said it is crazy to keep thi going, for one thing it requires to many server restarts.
We have been discussing alternatives, so if I may suggest one alternative:

All members undergo training on using BF2CC (the server control programe) and then are made admins, (My bro in law gave me a quick run down of how it works and its so much easier now!)
During a 24hour period there will likly be at least one admin on XFire.
From my experiance IO Karkand or jalalabad seems to draw in the crowds so we leave the server on this, if a recruit or member wishs a new map then thats fine they can change it or in the case of recruits, get the member to change it.

We can all have what we want.

I would be ok with that. I doesn't make since to change the rotation all the time either, if no one is on the server. Leave it I/O on a two map rotation, then if we are on the server and want something different we can change it.

Yer Karkand IO is def the one that people like, and Jalalabad!! ortho on Jalalabad the full map on IO is a pain cos of the US base being so far away so they just get pinned at the start so i rekon the 16player map is better on that map. Another map thats good for IO is Mashtuur City but that one gets left out for some reason so it would be cool to play on that every now and again

can we please just have urban IO...please and maybe a day on the weekend for vehicles to fill scrivs tanking needs and my boating needs.

I dont think that is nessessary, I belive that if the server is not in use when any of the admins come into use it, then if they want to they can change it to IO or vehicles.

I myself change from day to day, I like to use our server for Jet and Heli practice for a start.

Lets stick to how it was before. We just all need to make sure that the server is up and running SOMETHING when we leave it.

Highway Tampa seems to be a popular map.May I suggest we run that map for a week?Maybe we can get folks on our server and recruitment prospects.I notice more mature players on HT any thoughts?
