We need to look at controlling who is on the server. I was reviewing the logs last night and it appears folks have been using our server for other than game play. I would suggest we create and list rules to using the our server. There have been a few rooms created that have nothing to suggest gameplay.
I suggest that we add a few more administrators to the list; sfscriv can make his suggestions to me
Rule #1 should be the server is used for gameplay, preparing for BF2, or clan talk. Folks using the sever as their VoIP phone should be kicked and room deleted. In addition we should start listing the abusers IP on the restricted forum and start tracking abusers in order to ban them if it continues.

Cant we just lock the server, then hand out the password in the forums? That way we wouldn't have o worry about 3rd party's coming in, and it would save the hassle.

I think ares password idea is a good one.
I went on the server the other day to find 2 randoms having a conversation in some other language. They were definitely not associated with Spartan War Fighters!

Yea after a meeting a few weeks ago, I left my teamspeak on while I went to get something to eat. When I came back there was like 3 people chatting away bout some random things, I asked them what they were doin here, and they disconnected.

When I'm on the computer, Ill get on teampspeak to monitor who is abusing it. I would suggest giving some of us admin priveleges to it so we can kick unwanted visitors.

We need to get GhstRdr up on TS so we can all get registered, have admin rights and what not. I haven't seen him on for awhile.

He was on a long business trip for the later part of May. He should be back, but was away for his normal job and family. He should be back on the battlefield soon.

I have returned from my business trip only to return to a home that has been ripped apart. While this is not usually an issue my computer have been covered with plastic to protect from paint, dust, and other installations. My server is connected but I have not checked to see if it TS is running. I'll check it tonight and post the status. The new carpet goes in after the 4 July weekend and I'll be back up again.
6 weeks away and I'm itching to get on my own computer so I can get back on the battlefield (maybe just in time for BF3 release)
