Come on you WW2 fans. Arma2 has a mod called "Invasion 1944" that is pretty good. It's easy to add to your Arma2 setup if your using SixUpdater or PlayWithSix. I'd like to see if we can get a squad of paratroopers together and retake that small french town. Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Let me know if your interested and what day and time works best for you.

I would be interested in this, but for the next two weeks it's going to be just intense studying for me. And I haven't downloaded the mod yet. Fridays and Saturdays are best for me, around 20:00 GMT and onwards.
Maybe I could play it for a couple of hours, but I know from experience that I won't play just for a couple of hours... Especially if it's a good game. I guess WWII is one of my weaknessess. But I'll definitely play after the exam week.
Plans for next month: install Invasion 1944 (and download, that's a huge file), BF2+FH2 and BF3.

Scriv, the reason I originally posted this in the Arma2 forum is so it shows up when members click on the "New Topics" tab. Things posted in the "Event Sign Up" area don't come to the top when you do this. I was hoping a few more people would see it this way.

Ok, I have to re-install my arma2. What is the best way to go about this and what downloads do I need please. I would appreciate if they could be put in order of download. Thank you in advance.

Auscam, I think the easiest approach might be to start by reinstalling Arma2 (combined operations or operation arrowhead). Then download and install PlayWithSix. It will allow you to stay current with your Arma2 version and download and update any mods you have. I just started using it a few weeks ago and so far so good. Not yet. I was waiting to see how many members #1 have this mod, and #2 are interested in playing it. So far as I know, just myself, Iwazzio and Scriv have it installed. If we can get three or four of us together, it would be worth an event.

Before I install Play with Six(so I can install Invasion 1944), should I uninstall Six Updater? What about the Six Launcher?

I uninstalled both Six Updater and Six Launcher before installing PlaywithSix.

Uninstalled Six updater & launcher, installed Play with Six and Invasion 1944. It should work.
So now we have four people from the clan with the mod installed, and if auscam gets it working. Is this enough people for an event? I'm fine with Fridays and Saturdays after 20:00 GMT, but I'd rather not play to the morning hours. Al needs his beauty rest.
