Rob, don't reformat your computer due to the Forum. Bruno and sfscriv experienced the same problem yesterday. The Forum providers may have been working on their server. Clearly, it was the forum and it seems to have been sorted out.

Scrivs PostYOU are NOT going to beleive this one !!
Before, the =SWF= Forum was quick switching back to the main page and auto directing to Proboards. Now, it has been extremely slugish for the last 3 days with some windows of semi-normalcy.
Well, believe it or not the same research solution repairs the PROBLEM:
Copy the base part of the =SWF= Forum address. Delete the OLD bookmark/favorite. Paste the info in your Internet Explorer, hit enter, and save as a bookmark.
It is some kind of quirk with IE7.
This technique should fix it AGAIN. Thanks Scriv for getting this sorted. It is definatly a problem with IE7, I have updated my IE to IE8, It is only a beta version but have found no problems with it and the forum has never been quicker IE8 (free download) www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/beta/default.aspx
