Al, give me time to consider this ;D
While I am thinking about it, a quick fix would be BF2 (identical) with the graphics and destruction of BF3.

Perhaps, the timing of this thread was not the best.
I think later would be a better time for this. I am copying and storing this for a later time.
----------------------------------- wobbly, we talked yesterday and you said you were okay with this thread. There has been a good bit of action lately. Let's just let everything calm down before we hit the "HOT" topic.

You scared me a bit there. I thought all my text was gone because of an error on the forum or something. And yeah, I guess it isn't the best time for this. I was just filled with ideas I wanted to share.

I will release the goodness at a future date

The discussion shall continue on that date. Although I have a feeling it will be forgotten for five years before someone remembers it.

'... this thread shouldn't offend you. Hopefully.' Of coarse not Al. None of the BF games have been perfect (2142 came pretty close ;D) It will be interesting to hear people's ideas. Dam, I was already putting together some ideas . All the best from 1942,BF2,2142,BC2,BF3 and some new ones. I will look forward to 'the return' ;D

Not having EA or DICE involved. We should all get together and develop a game. And maybe go on the show Shark Tank for the money.

I don't know about Shark Tank (hadn't even heard of it before, seems to be a copy of Dragon's Den), but a viable option would be Kickstarter if one wanted to get funding for a game.

Shark Tank is the American version of Dragons Den.

I would like to revive this topic. Unfortunately, I do not have access to Al's original text. We will have to wait until I get back to the house.

Let's revive it then.
Here's something cool from Sub Rosa: the ability to enter any vehicle. It means that you can enter the back seat of an enemy car and ride along. Why not? The passengers should be allowed to use at least their fists or pistols inside vehicles.
Another feature I'd like to see is positional VoIP. Your voice could be heard by the enemies hiding around the corner. Even if you lose sight of your squad, you can still communicate with any team member you meet.
Walking inside vehicles, especially planes and helicopters should be possible. Just think about paratroopers lining up before jumping.
