Not great,kept getting error on verifying the installer.
I was unable to install the MOD.Got the files from a legit site.
To the recycle bin it goes.

Was your Battlefield 2 patched to 1.41 and then 1.5?
Exactly where did you download it? If you downloaded it from the official site, or any site they gave links to, it should work.
Did you try installing them in the correct order?
I don't think any of the other Spartans have faced troubles with downloading it. It would help if you told what kind of an error message you got.
And yes, Forgotten Hope is worth all the trouble. At best we've had five Spartans in one game. If you got it working too, we could get a full Spartan fireteam (=squad)!

The Forgotten Hope developers have been dropping information about new stuff that will be coming in the next patch (which will probably be 2.5), which focuses on the Eastern front. Previously they have only shown pictures of weapons and vehicles, but now they released multiple pictures of a new map, and the map image itself too! The new map, which will be included in the next patch whenever it comes out, is called Battle of Keren. It has Brits fighting the Italians in a mountainy area. I now have FH 2.4 installed.
Wouldn't mind giving it a test drive, what times are good for you Al ? Week days are usually best for me.

Well, the best times for me would be from GMT 1900 to GMT 2100 and on Fridays and Saturdays GMT 1900-0000. I sometimes play even later, to about GMT 0130, but as some who have played with me may have noticed, my abilities to play anything and even form proper English sentences start to diminish the later it gets. I can't remember if you lived in England or the US. Some Americans have experienced lag since the usual servers are located in Europe. And the times that are alright with me might not be with you if you live on the other side of the globe. But it doesn't matter, this Friday (March 30th) I'll have a day off and can play pretty much from GMT 0800 to GMT 0000. Of course I'm not going to play 14 hours straight; that's the time I'll be available.  Everyone else is obviously welcome to join us. |
