Please may we have a BF3 TS channel?

I just noticed we haven't got a TS channel dedicated to BF3. I'd like to requisition one straight away. Thankyou in advance.

I am not sure who has admin privilages on TS3. I think Scriv, and maybe Taz.
We can always use 'Other Games' for now. ;D

Our TS3 does not seem to be registered with TSViewer either.
This linked into our Commo webpage so you could see who was online.
I think this was overlooked after the change from TS2.

Yes a BF3 channel whould be nice with two teams as at the moment you can hear what the other team is plotting lol

I only have access to create a temporary channel so Scriv will have to create the channel.

Not having a BF3 channel is causing a few problems.

Trying to stay alive under fire is quite difficult while Spartan is on approach into LAX ;D LOL !! (joke)

It is awkward using other channels eg. Arma2 as people will think you are playing that game.

I think they problem arose last weekend, when Spartan0536 and I were about to play Ghost Recon and there were some clan mates (can't remember who) playing BF3 in the same time. We were all using the "Other Video games" channel, but obviously we couldn't all be on the same channel playing different games.

I suggested to Spartan0536 that we move to another channel, but the other Spartans moved to the Bad Company channel before we could switch channels. The problem is of course, that they weren't playing that game. What if someone who owns BC2 but not BF3 saw them on the channel, what would he think? He would think they are playing BC2, and would get disappointed. But that is not all. If BF3 players are on a BC2 channel, where would the possible BC2 players go?

I might be stating the obvious here, but this is an issue that needs to get solved.

Suggestion that does not relate to BF3: could there be two sub-channels in the Other Video Games channel? One would be "Team 1/co-op" (you don't necessarily need the "co-op" part in the name, us Spartans are intelligent enough to use it for co-op anyway) and the other one would be "Team 2". This way the clan could play pretty much anything together, as the channels would cover every game and team.

YES, I agree, this is long overdue. Can we please get some TS admins? I think we should have admins so we can deal with this and any other issues that arise. What if someone comes on and needs to be kicked, either because of inappropriate behavior or just an open Mic? Plus admins can drag others into appropriate channels for group meetings, etc.

Totally agree with you guys it can be quite frustrating at times. I do like the idea of admins, a couple in each time zone would be great.

Okay. I tried to create a permanent channel. I also found the admin instructions sent by the TS3 hositng company and was unable to gain admin previleges. I have submitted a request for assistance to the server hosting company.

I agree we need more admins. Volunteers?

I am the one who set up the TSviewer and embedded the script into the web page. When we went from TS2 to TS3, that broke the link and I am not sure how to fix it. We need replacement script to embed into the webpage.

Ok, seriously am happy to be an admin if required. Would be good to have a server admin as well if we can find our server. If this is like the BC2 servers the admin can be a little tricky though, after messing about with theJersyboys server.

I would be more than happy to admin the TS3 server. I have experience with Ventrilo and TS2 so I should be able to figre my way around fairly quick.

Let's use the Bad Company 2 (BFBC2) channel for Battlefield 3

Those wanting to play BFBC2 cna use the BF2 channels or other.

Repeat: Instead of using a single channel "Lobby" or "Other Video games," let's us the the Bad Company 2 channels until the TS server admin issues can be resolved.
