I am finally building a new PC. It has been over three years since I built my last one. It has served me very well over the years, but as of late it just hasn't been up to the job. Those of you that I have played with know that I have had issues running BF2 with Teamspeak, It's Lagtastic. So I was left with two choices; go back to wondering the battlefield by my self, or build a computer that had the cpu speed and memory to run more than one app at a time. It will take me a couple of months to get the system built, but at lest there is a hi res lagless battlefield in my future.
One of the things I will be getting is a new graphics card (PCI express).
What kind of graphic cards does everyone use and how do you like it?

I'm running a NVIDIA 8500 GT 512MB which I thought was great for the price (around $50)

If you want something cheap and better than your current card than go with 8600GT.

I like ATI cards, i have got a HD2600 It plays BF2 with no problems on full graphics and as it isnt the lastest card it is very cheap. I would also recommend a quad core and adleast 2GB of Ram if you are using Vista.

yer sounds like you already have a pritty good pc!! not to sure how you got a 6 on your processor as it only gos upto 5.9 lol, but close enough.i would recommend another 2GB of Ram but only if you have a 64bit version of vista, if not i would check to make sure it will be compatable. I also find a big monitor helps on bf2!! the bigger your screen the bigger every one is on the screen and that makes them easier to hit!!
