Well, while I was seacrching the interwebs, mainly newegg, I stumbled upon the new Nvidia 9600gt and the 9800. They are nasty sons of b******. The 9800 is $600 and has 1gb of ram, talk about firepower haha. The 9600gt is better than the 8800GT from my perspective, as it is cheaper and well...doesnt have better stuff but better parameters in playing Crysis, you get 2 of those suckers and you can play it on the High Setting. So after further review I have concluded I will have to buy em hehe.
Thats after I get a new case, psu, 2gb of ram (making it 3.75) and motherboard, mainly costing me around $600-800. So my total expenses are going to be around $1000. In my view thats not expensive for a gamin commputer. Good thing I already have the hard drives haha.
I could use some suggestions on motherboards.
Feel free to post any feed ack, or constructive criticism.
Thanks, =SWF=GenDarth

Sounds Great! Only thing is you will need a nice chunky PSU to run those Graphics Cards! Im an ATI man myself so i cant comment on the 9800's but they look good, Motherboards are always tricky but my advice is get a good one and it will last you a while, lots of upgrade options for the future is the key! Think of Battlefield 3! We will need one hell of a rig for that one! Thanks =SWF=(r)Angrytom_ass

I am not familiar with the power consumption of the 9000 series cards. Gaming experts used to recommend 400 watts back in the single card pre-7000 card series time period. I went with a 600 watt PSU with the intent of using two 7900s. I still only have one video card.
I have seen a 1000 watt PSU used in some of the high-end machines.
I would do some research on machines built with the 9000s and see what computer builders are using. Keep in mind you want some padding for future add-ons and upgrades and you don't want to spend too much money on a real beefy PSU. There is a significant difference in price between a 600 watt and a 1000 watt PSU. The other consideration is the brown out that will occur in your neighborhood.
Cheers!

Not only is there a problem withh the PSU but also the cooling system. I might get it water cooled if theres a lot of stuff so thats also going to cost a bundle.
