If you have ever played any of the fallout games then you will love this game!! It really reminds me of the silent hill games as well!! With this game you have to go around the wreaked world and try to find your dad, ammo is very limited so you have to use hand to hand combat as often as possible, I have only had this game for 2days but i would highly recommend it. However if you are looking for a game and are tight with cash i think The Witcher is probably a better game but the gameplay is very different!! Out of far cry2 and Fallout3, Fallout3 wins hands down!! uk.youtube.com/watch?v=NchTwVn_E3g

Rob, No offense.
I have not ever played Fallout3. Some of the things I like about BF2 that I do not like about other video games is the lack of excessive gore and the presence of realism. I am not a horror film fan and do not honestly understand why people enjoy seeing human bodies ripped apart.
The storyline, game play, and graphic can be great, but for me the gore can ruin the whole game.

I dont mind the gore it doesnt really bother me, i certainly wouldnt not play a game because of the gore. The story line and graphics do make this game. And when you are playing the game it isnt really like the video. They have slowed all that down so it isnt as bad as it portrays there!!

Lofty it is the journey more than the objective LOL
I have however stopped playing the game as i have to many other games to play!! But i will get back into it at a later date. Psyco you will have to let me know how you get on with it, I'm not sure how good it would be on the PS3 but then i dont get on with any shooting games on consoles.

Ah 1st person shooters on a console! One good thing is when you go back to the PC you cannot believe the control you have!

Long games like Fallout 3 tend to be easier on the hands with a gamepad. I would MUCH prefer to play, say, Left 4 Dead on the PC, but all of my friends have it for the 360, which is unfortunate. PC gamers are a dying breed, but it's still the greatest format for FPS and RTS until someone comes up with a realistic VR console.

I'll stick to PC as its (i believe) "infinitely" upgradable. you dont have to pay out £400-£600 for a new PC each time a new, better part comes out. For my PC i think i paid around £300 to £350, you can find the details of it on my XFire profile. I prefer my PC to any games console and I have and Xbox 360 controller for it too

It is mainly for HD films rather than games. I very rarely use it for games. It is good for the occasional driving game but games like BF2 are better sat up at the pc desk with my 22" monitor pulled up nice and close ;D
